The 57th Annual Meeting of the Valley Telephone Cooperative was held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the big room at Valley HQ in Willcox, AZ.
It was staged as a virtual meeting using the Webex Event platform and used a new hybrid video streaming system allowing for a smoother program with higher quality for online attendees. A new video titled “The Value of Scholarships” featuring five different scholarship recipients was shown during the meeting just prior to announcement of 2021 Scholarship recipients who were award a total of $138,000.00 in scholarships. The event was well attended online and went very smoothly with 30 door prizes of $50 bill credits that were awarded to names drawn from those in attendance and the grand prize of $1,000 was awarded to Kyle J. of Cotton City, NM., whose name was drawn from all valid ballot entrees
