Installations are part of a regional ecosystem and land use management process. The Army must learn to use land and manage the natural resources within the context of regional planning.  This includes understanding regulatory requirements, dealing with other federal land managers, and working with the concerns of the local communities.  The session will include a case study on how an Army partnership with the private sector has worked.
