Nature Conservancy Rancher Charged With Trespass
Hello all! Interesting article in today's Idaho Statesman (Monday), Local Section (page 2b). It seems that
"Lester Hatch, the ranch manager and base property leaseholder of The Nature Conservancy's 45 Ranch in remote Owyhee County, has been charged with
cattle trespass by the Bureau of Land Management."
Hatch apparently admitted to grazing more than 100 cows and calves for over 2 months on the 65,000-acre 45 allotment on the S.F. of the Owyhee
River (near the Nevada border) without authority to do so from BLM.
TNC's cattle in question are IN ADDITION TO the cattle permitted to graze year round on the allotment.
The Ranch Manager will pay a trespass fine & reimburse BLM for reconnaissance flights and other staff time spent in confirming the
trespass. Cheers! Amy V.
In 1932 William Z. Foster, then National Chairman of the Communist Party,
USA, restated point one of the Communist Manifesto; "The abolition of
private
property". Then in terms specifically applicable to the U.S., Foster
said, "The establishment of an American Soviet government will involve the
confiscation of large landed estates in town and country, and also, the
whole
body of forests, mineral deposits, lakes, rivers and so on". USA
Communist
Party Chief Gus Hall stated, "...The battle will be lost, not when
freedom of
speech is finally taken away, but when Americans become so 'adjusted or
conditioned' to getting along with the 'group' that when they finally see
the
threat, they say, 'I can't afford to be controversial".
Are we now so established or just on the way there? Realize the
real
agenda and what is happening before it's too late! We are almost there!
