Send Free E-Cards to Friends and Family – Spread the Importance of Conserving Earth’s Last Great Places this Earth Day 2005

Arlington, Virginia—April 18, 2005—Everyone is looking for an Earth Day project. Kids and adults who care about the environment and conserving nature can send free Earth Day e-cards to friends and family from The Nature Conservancy’s Great Places Network.

“Earth Day is a perfect time to raise awareness about threats to the planet’s natural habitat. With threatened coral reefs, endangered species and global warming on the rise, we need to take advantage of Earth Day to let people know about the importance of protecting the earth,” said Megan Stanley, Director of The Nature Conservancy's Great Places Network.
