2023 marks the second consecutive year we’ve hosted a half-time shoot-out for students attending the Men’s and Women’s basketball games at Eastern Arizona College. Four student names were drawn randomly for the chance to take a shot for money. After the students missed their attempts, we called down EAC Dean of Academics, Kevin Peck, who made a miraculous half court “Nothing but Net” shot earning $300 for the Monster Exchange food pantry. Everyone involved got Valley swag bags and the cheerleaders tossed Valley basketballs into the crowd. We also gave away a “Stadium Seat Party-Pack” and donated $250 to the Gila Hanks Booster Club.
